Melanie Reinhart wurde in Zimbabwe geboren. Sie studierte Englisch, Musik und Drama (B.A.) und ist seit 1975 professionelle Astrologin. Sie ist Inhaberin eines Diploms mit Auszeichnung der Faculty of Astrological Studies und hat Ausbildungen in verschiedenen humanistischen Therapien. Melanie Reinhart lebt in London und unterrichtet am Centre for Psychological Astrology und an der Faculty of Astrological Studies. Darüber hinaus hat sie an Tagungsorten in Großbritannien, Europa, Afrika, Australien und Neuseeland gearbeitet, astrologische Seminare abgehalten und Vorträge gegeben. Ihre Artikel erscheinen regelmäßig in allen großen astrologischen Zeitschriften. Sie ist Autorin der Bücher "Chiron and the Healing Journey" (London 1989, dt: Chiron: Heiler und Botschafter des Kosmos), "To the Edge and Beyond: Saturn, Chiron, Pholus and the Centaurs" (London 1996).
